Jack's Generosity Continues

Wow. Ive never seen horn of that colour.
Too stuff.
Well done.

Thank you for the generous words my friends :)

meant to write "TOP stuff" as in beautiful knife and wonderful gift-but you guys knew that already.:D

Beautiful knife, Alan - looks like it's lit up! Great story, too - very generous Jack! As for that Sheffield Year Knife; well, that is another amazing story...but I wouldn't want to bump into one of those in the middle of the night!
Leave it to Jack to come up with the story around that Year Knife. If you search the web, there is a little more history out there about it. I believe it now resides in a tool museum in the UK.

It is great looking horn GE. Jack mentioned to me that a recent run of A Wright's horn seems to have this translucence and orange/amber color. Check out Jacks highly figured buffalo lambs foot on the Guardians thread some time.

:)Alan the photos are not showing on my phone at this time but Jack is an absolute Legend.
I'm so so glad we have Jack in our lives here - he's one hang of a nice guy- I'm proud to call him a mate and just look at what he does!
Well done to both of you Gents
Thanks Duncan. See my response to GE Jr. also about Wright's recent run of horn. I'm not as well informed about this as Jack who visited the works. Could not agree more with your comments about our friend Jack.

It's in the Kelham Island Industrial Museum in Sheffield :)

I've not seen horn of this colour before, don't know how long Wright's will be using it, but pretty interesting stuff in my opinion :)

It looks like those two fellows are about to haul off that knife. :)
