greetings and salutations.I have been seeing a number of knives with "jade green" G-10 on them and was wondering if anyone on here knows a supplier for it. I googled but came up empty.Any help would be much appreciated.:)

James Todd here on the forums sells it. Go to the knifemakeing supplies forum.

that jade color i think is also refered to as natural. anyeay i bought a bunch of the G10 mr.todd sells. there are pictures on his thread of how it looks on a knife. i would call it jade but you should check to make sure thats the color you want. WHAT IM LOOKING FOR IS LAGER ALE G10. anyone know a supplier? thanks mark

If this is the color, the thinner it is cut, the lighter it gets, really thin cuts are nearly translucent.

Here is the thread showing sizes, all knife makers are welcome to the material for basically shipping. The price does reflect distance from my Zip Code. I will be glad to help if this is close to what you want, I am buying a tile saw tomorrow and starting to cut up some smaller pieces as the large ones are hard to cut.

Thank you fellas for the replies. James, an e-mail will b forthcoming as soon as I figure out how much id like to try out.An idea popped into my head when you said the thinner its cut the more translucent it is.should make a Japanese wrap handle look very interesting.:D
Thanks again guys, and thank you James for going through the trouble of cutting and recycling this material.

Here is a photo of a Soddie by Keith Johnson, K R Johnson on the forums, even thinner slices are very translucent. My son is giving away the same material to some custom razor guys and it really is nice. I will try to get photos later.

I got a 5" x 12" x 3/8" piece from Masecraft last weekend at the A.G. Russell show. $16 seemed like a fair price.

Thanks for the heads up danbo. checked their site and the material looked white. Just a bad pic perhaps? James whats the possibility of getting some cut to 1/4in slabs?width and length are no problem but i would like to have something in a manageable thickness.

I will let you know when I get a tile saw and try cutting this stuff.
