To make it easy $850, includes flawless original box(I will go take a pic) I believe hand engraved insided lock bar scale hidden: 2016 CPM S90V, could be 2015 but very hard to see. Please take a second a read as I believe anyone purchasing would be interested in.
I have held out selling for years but I think the time has come. This knife has flawless centuring, the action is hands down my favorite as it fires hard and locks up solid but somehow he kept the lockbar pressure dare I say "floating". The action in unreal and I can't compare it to anything else besides other high end Hobacks. There is no lock rock, no off centured blade, no hot spots or edges that have not been blended and smoothed by Jake himself, I have had every knife from collections of Hinderers and Chris Reeves and nothing bring me the joy of owning this at a time when Jake Hoback had no employees and lived in a town of maybe 200 people named Virginia City,Nevada. I say none of this to "hype" this knife, I searched forever to find such example, the best I can desribe is: I always thought of this if Hinderer were to make a medium XM-18 as it falls perfectly between the 3.5 and 3" model XM-18's, it's hard to describe but these knifes are tactial with tons of grip and jimping but buttery smooth and feel soft on all edges/clip/lockbar/etc. Anyways I took a bunch of pics and have tried my best to descibe and capture what the knife is to me, forget to get the box photo uploaded but even it is flawless(seriously not even a speck of dust). Just a gorgous custom and treated with care since entering my care.

The bottom picture is a Spydi PM2 and top a Hogue full size ritter to show the size comparison. If anyone has held a Hinderer small and large or Sebenza small and large imagine a medium of either model and that is a good example of size. Feel again is like a Xm-18 but much much smoother and all the milling work is buttery soft yet grips perfectly and really unlike anything I have owned except other high end Hoback knives. The action and lock up are just unreal and so satisfying. This was my grail knife along with a knife art Sebenza large drop point/carbon fiber, but I would put this knife on a entire other level- again it was trully hand built, hand milled, sharpened by Jake (not an employee) before leaving Nevada and becoming the very famous maker he is today. This is a super rare knife and priced to sell, I have never seen another A8 built this way. I have only found two A8 models sold and they were not in this configuration and both were over $1,000 on Arizonacustomeknives. Thanks for looking, and hope you find the custom knife you looking for.

Oh man, I'm sorry. They weren't displaying for me before. Now... I see them. My bad!
No problem I just wanted to make sure I took a bunch of photos so have a few more but these I feel show the knife and all the fine details and milling and hand work best to what it looks like in hand.
