It is with a heavy heart that I must put my Hoback A10 up for sale. Unfortunately the knife just isn't for me, and after waiting 9 months for it, I really don't want to wait any longer for something I truly enjoy. Jakes books are currently closed so this may be one of your better opportunities to get a hold of some of Jake's amazing work.
I received this knife in March and it has been carried a few times, and has cut only a few things. Cosmetically, I would say it is at 95% or better. The fit and finish is impeccable on this knife, as is consistent with Jake's work. The centering is perfect on the CPM 3V blade (at 60 HRC), which I am pretty sure is somewhere between .20-.22" thick. The titanium slabs are of similar thickness. This A10 features a caged bearing pivot and Jake's Hoback Roller Detent, which is user adjustable.
DISCLAIMER: This knife has developed a little bit of lock rock, although I cannot make the lock physically fail. I have already contacted Jake and he is going to fix it once he returns from Blade. However, I would really like to move this knife to a new owner before that because I don't want my money to continue to be tied up in it. I will let Jake know that a new owner will be sending the knife to him for repair if you choose to purchase and send it to him.

I am at this time asking $500 SPF for this knife, shipped via USPS priority and insured. Paypal gift or adding fees are both acceptable. Please no lowball offers because of the lock rock, I can always just send it back to Jake and have it fixed better than new.
