I just got my BT in the post yesterday and decided to take it in to the local woods to give it a go on the most dangerous of enemies :- Fallen tree trunks. I took my 6 month old springer spaniel puppy along for a walk. After half an hour of "defending" myself against these visious creatures, my dog, Jake was bored and decided it was time for his fun. So I let him off the lead (for the first time ever), he promptly decided it would be a great idea to run and jump through some tangled branches. He was having a fantastic time until he ran through a particully large clump of, what I thought at the time, grass, branches and other stuff.
Well it wasn't just that there. The reason for this large clump (and what was holding it all together) was some barbed wire. Jake yelped and cried as it tightened round his back legs. Horrified, I ran over to help, but I couldn't untangle him. Then I remembered: The BT.
I took it out of the sheath and used it to chop through the branches, grass and even the barbed wire, with not a thought to the cutting edge. 5 minutes of hacking later and jake was free, but still shaken up. Relieved, I checked the blade and guess what: NO DAMAGE, NONE, NIL, ZIP.
Thanks to Strider, Jake can still look forward to a promising career as a gun dog. :D :D :D

Nice ending SMAT and the best of luck to you with Jake! Springers are great, and thanks to you, STRIDER and your BT, he will have the chance to run at full strength one day soon. Give Jake a pat for me.
