We saw him at the Fair St. Louis about 5 years ago; he was still billing himself as "the hardest working man in show business". Though he had a large crew of singers and dancers, he really knocked himself out!

Such a shame. I was saying to my wife, I would love to see him perform at
Casino Rama, Ontario at his concert on January 4th and 5th. She said
"really", and I said "he is such a good performer and he won't be around
forever".

James and the Famous Flames...I got to see him once a little over 20 years ago at The Saddle rack in San Jose, CA. He did a 4 cape show that nite.

Caught James Brown a few years ago here in Columbus. Really high energy show.
