A sweet big honking piece of Stellite from mcgoo7 (James McGowan). This slicer is cord wrapped with rayskin underneath and a cool skull menuki.

From tip to butt it measures 7 1/4" with a cutting edge just under 2 1/2"

Comes with a multi-position Kydex sheath also made by James. Fresh edge from James and not cut a thing but air since. Some light marks on it, likley from the sheath; was used by previous owner but I had James do a refurb on it.

Is this a conventional grind (flat...?) or a one sided chisel grind...
Is the handle resin coated?

I hope wyrm doesn't mind my jumping in but..., it is chisel ground and the handle is coated. I loved that knife, it kinda makes me want to get it back:).

Hey Ben, no problem you answering since it was yours first. The handle coating is the way I like it, not gloppy or real thick or real shiny. The only reason I'm selling is so I can actually buy a non-knife related item from James.

Thank you for the response. I am not partial to the chisel stuff, but this is almost pretty enough to change my mind...
