Great knife, Buddy!

I had a nice conversation with Jim at Blade and spent a good amount of time looking over his knives. They were very well done and the accompanying sheaths added to the overall presentation.

This knife is a stand out!
 
Buddy,
A birdmouth is when you cut V shape in the tip of your forged blade and forge the tip back together to bring the flow of the pattern to the tip. Very suttle but effective.

Just a super hunter, Buddy. I have been a big fan of Jim's since purchasing a sweet damascus hunter from him at Blade in '07. I was glad to handle several of his pieces for this year's show. You made a great choice in nabbing this one. :thumbup:

Great Purchase Buddy.
I got to coon-finger that hunter before the show. Jim had a lot of great knives this year, but that one really stood out to me. It's about as sexy as a hunter can get and still be totally useable. Bet it cuts like a laser too.
