As I just wrote in a more complete overview, working with James Terrio to acquire one of his custom fixed-blade knives was a wonderful experience:
This is my first-ever custom anything, and I couldn't be more pleased with the process and outcome, from start to finish. James listened to what I wanted (as best I could articulate it, with humor but also with some specific objectives) and created a knife for me that is far better than I knew to ask for. His communication throughout was excellent, including the many ways he reflected back that he understood my concerns/questions/sometimes ridiculously idiosyncratic affection for blue.

An excellent transaction, start to finish.

What a great knife!

Thanks, James. :)

Thank you very much for your support! It's been a pleasure, and I look forward to working for you again.

Ayup - I handed a pretty big and, to some, bizarre project to James. He just immediately struck me as the person I wanted to do it.

This is what 12½' of Terrio worked O1 looks like, they came out far better than I imagined.

James handled it with aplomb and a can-do attitude. No fuss, no hassles. Easy as pie.

Highly recommended for any ideas your fertile imagination can cook up....

AKC's spearheads were the first large, double-edged blades I ever attempted. I learned a lot from that project, and I'm pleased that you're happy with the results. Thank you for the challenge! :)
