Well, if I start selling my plasma now.. I'm still quaking from the potential financial damage that dagger is going to cause!
 
Would be hard-pressed to make a usable dagger with .140" thick stock, so I'd say they're unrelated unless this is all a tease and we're getting set up for a letter opener.

I know you guys don't want the competition but, where does one watch out for these? Will they be in the manufacturer's forum, Busse for sale/trade, knifemaker for sale?
Thanks to the kind soul willing to help a poor kid acquire his first Busse!
