I order supplies from four or so suppliers, they are all good suppliers.
Today I send in a gripe:
I ordered 3/16" dia stepped pivots w/a No6 screw and 2-56 x 1/4"long button head screws.
They both arrived with smaller than normal TORX sizes.(T6 for #6 screw and T5 for the #2 screw)
Can you imagine sticking a T6 tool into a pivot pin**, that sucker will strip the tiny head out.
I sent an e-mail*, they ask again the sizes of screws, I responded, but no reply yet.
Guess I'll have to buy elsewhere.:(

* - e-mail sent Monday.
** - Normally a T8 or higher is used on a pivot.

Call us and we will help you. We have the best pivots available.

The pivot barrel is heat treated 416 stainless. The tolerances are +.0002"/-0.0" (that is not a typo). The pivot has a 6-64 thread. This makes it easier to adjust the pivot tension. The pivot drive is T9 Torx.
