This is my interpretation of a Japanese style EDC knife that can be either pocket or neck carried. It's essentially a replacement for a folder. It makes an exceptional EDC!

The blade is made from 1095 steel. I performed all heat treat and tempering operations. The blade is tempered to 60 - 61 HRC for excellent edge holding characteristics. The blade features a fine satin finish that is attractive and practical.

The blade is made from .09" stock. This results in fantastic cutting performance! The blade features a double full flat grind, resulting in a very thin and sharp edge. The edge was taken down to about .005" before sharpening. Amazing cutter!

The thin stock also allows for an extremely lightweight knife, that you literally forget about during the day!

The wrap is nylon, and is impregnated with epoxy to prevent unraveling or moisture retention. The under wrap is a choice piece of genuine grey sting ray skin. Extremely grippy!
