japanese forging hammers

I will custom make japanese forging hammers. pics are as follows

sizes vary with prices..... they a 1.25" to 1.75" circ with a flat face and rounded edges. handle tilts slightly. Can braid the handle if you like. these are made one at a time.

can use the curly maple too.... these are some I made last year for someone else.

Cost is $85 with shipping for each hammer.... I generally use 1.25" diam heads
3-4 weeks for shipping d/t supplies if need to be purchased

you pick the weight of the head you want.... 2,3, or 4 lbs.... I have 3 being made this month. steel on the way, the heads are slightly contoured around the edge, and heat treated 1/4" depth of the head. They make excellent forging hammers............ and well worth it....

3lb 85 shipped inside usa...

These are handforged from 4140 tool steel. so may take up to one month to get.... so be patient. they are worth the wait
