This is an absolutely fantastic kitchen knife. The blade has a VG-10 core for great edge retention and stain resistance, and is made with 16 layers of Damascus Clad and unique tsuchime (hammer) marks. Beautiful to behold and a pleasure to use. Lightly used in my kitchen, but I tend to use my chefs knife and small 3” blade much more. Paid $249. Will pass along to a good home for $150.
