Japanese knife box translation into English

This is the box my knife came in. Could someone translate it into english for me?

It says 練出光刀味覚生, a registered trademark of Masamoto Souhonten.
While I can read it as "neri idemitsu gatana mikakusei" I am not at all sure if
that is the correct reading. From the characters I get the feeling that it means "something like"
a forged idemitsu blade brings life to the taste buds. But, this is solely my guess.
