Got to let my best kitchen buddy go. This blade is only a little over a month old and has been my daily go to. Only "issue" is the patina. The round patina near the handle was a mustard test, because I was worried it was stainless, the White #2 is very stain resistant for carbon. That patina is almost daily use, tomatoes, onions and potatoes very regularly. Great slicer, edge is factory, but needs a few passes on a light stone, but since that is very personal, I'll leave that to you. 200 shipped US
