Japanese knife

Japanese knives and most Japanese products in general are known for quality and beautiful form and function.

I am always looking for knife products from Japan, especially pocketknives, but kitchen knives are what I mostly encounter. Also, the prices are usually rather high.

If traditional Japanese pocketknives (not only higonokami) and fixed blade utility or hunting knives were more available in commercial stores, I would be spending too much money buying them!

It surprises me that nobody mentioned the japanese Global kitchen knives, in my opinion they offer a really good quality/price ratio and their lightness is a pleasure.

Check this one - they have plenty of Japanese traditional knives as well as blades, steels and exotic australian woods for handles...
