Hi folks.. I have two small Japanese style kitchen knives.. sometimes called 'picnic knives' due to their compact size. I made these for an art show that was literally blown away by weather. The blades are 0.095 15n20.. a steel that is becoming one of my favorite cutlery steels. The wood is old growth 'flame/bird's eye' birch that was salvaged by divers from Lake Superior... with ebony spacer. There is an ebony saya pin for securing the blade in event that the relationship ever loosens up. Right now it is quite tight. Each knife comes with a small cutting board made from the same wood as the handle. The blade that isn't in this picture is more of a santoku shape. I can provide more pictures with interest.

Each are around 5 or so inches in total length.. with 2.5" blades...

These are extremely sharp, compact, tight little packages in heirloom quality wood.

I'm asking $225.00 shipped CONUS for each knife. Overseas buyers.. please inquire regarding shipping costs.
