Knife Knuts,
Would you like to see a frame-lock with a traditional Japanese-style blade? Or just a liner-lock with that blade style? Or maybe no Japanese- style blade.?

Do you mean some style other than the Japanese Tanto? I believe some of the old Lum tantos were framelocks. I'd like to see those come back.

ussr,
I mean the simple classic style blade but with the rounded point. Look at some of Phill Hartsfields blades and you'll see what I mean.

My interest in a framelock of any kind are about equal to the chances it would be left handed - damn near zero. As for blade shape, most of Phil Hartsfields that I could Google up were either tantos, or only looked "oriental" at all because of the nearly guardless cord wrapped handle. While I have no interest, perhaps an example of what you really are suggesting for would be helpful to those who might be.

On page 39 in AG Russell's catalog, late fall, the picture of the steak knives will give you an idea of the blade shape I'am talking about. I'd like to see a 3 or 3.5 inch blade like that on a Spyderco folder.

I still wont buy them unless the are shaped like the benchmade nimravus tanto knife.
