Are there any Spydercos that are only available in Japan or is everything exported to the U.S.? The reason I ask, is that I live in Japan and will be returning to the U.S. shortly, so I wouldn't mind picking up a few that are made here and exclusivley sold here.

Plain edged Ladybugs. If you do get them, please earmark one or two of them for me.

Hi Ouch. Welcome to the Spyderco forum. Hajimemashite. Our distributor in Japan is G.Sakai in Seki City, Gifu Pref.

They could direct you in that area. There are a number of models that are changed for the Japanese market, such as plain edges where the USA versions may be combination edge.

Ouch
You're in trouble now. There are several dozen of us that are looking for plain edge ladybugs.

I'm one of them. PLEASE!, PLEASE let me know how much they are and what colors are available. In other words what are they going to cost me?!?!?!

You can post here or e-mail me.

thanks

Well I guess the hunt is on for a boxload of plain edge ladybugs!
I'll see what I can find.
I have two Spedercos that I bought here and carry all the time. One is a fuly serreted edge police with G2 steel and smooth stainless sides, the other is...well, I'm not sure what model. It's a straight edge drop point with a 7cm (3 inch) blade in G2 steel. I haven't seen it on the Syder web sight. I also noticed that G2 seems to have disapeared.
I'll let you know if I can find the ladybugs.

I did find a diamond coated steel the other day with no name on it, but written in Japanese is said is was for a Spyderco serrated knife.
Seems to work well as it is conical shaped.

Ouch.
