First up is an excellent condition fuchi and kashira set that I got from David Goldberg probably 12 years ago or so. Gold Dragons on shakudo with copper bottom on fuchi. This is a beautiful set that I'd hoped to have mounted on an equally excellent blade - unfortunately I don't see this project coming to fruition - so time to move them on to someone who will use them. Lovely original Tsuba- This piece I think also came from David Goldberg if I remember correctly. It is a solid non ferrous "sentoku" metal (copper with tin and zinc). The dragon has intricate detail, with gold overlay on shakudo whiskers. The eyes are silver. Measurements: 5.2mm thick- x 69.0mm wide- x 72.mm high-. Nakago Ana-26.5mm high x 8.5mm wide-. Kogai & Kozuka Ana 17.9mm high x 12.1mm wide. It has never been mounted

Up next is a lower end fuchi. I'm not sure how old this piece is - came off ebay several years back. The design appears to be of a kudzu vine, in shakudo over copper, with the vine pattern highlighted by polishing to a lighter silver. The outside is in very good condition, though there is some whitish verdigris inside. Good weight for the size, does not appear to be a modern "seamed" copy.
Dimensions: Outside of piece, 1.5 inches long x 6.5 / 8ths wide x 3/8ths deep. Inside, 1+3/8ths inch long x 5/8ths wide by 2.5 /8ths deep. Blade aperture, 1 inch long by 2.25 /8ths at the widest point, tapering down to 1/8th with the blade angle.
