Steel - O1 tool steel. 3/16 thick.

HT to recommended specs in my digitally controlled Evenheat oven.

OAL - 8 3/4in

Blade length - 4 1/4in

Razor sharp near zero chisel grind. Scotchbrite machine satin finish.

Unsharpened swedge grind

Black tsukamaki handle. Maroon/deep red stingray hide. West System epoxy hardened.

Secure and safe grip. Turks head knot.

Fold over style kydex sheath. Configured for horizontal belt carry or IWB carry with loop.

Lemme guess, you had it all set up for a kwaiken, but then the thought occurred: "What if... I ground the other side?" :D
This design is delightfully different. Nice job!

Bingo! It's something I've been doing for a few years now. I'll make a batch of the same kwaiken pattern and be like - a couple of you are gonna be wharnies....

Just breaks up the monotony of grinding the same shape over and over.
