I know I'm going to ruffle some feathers here. Jason Brous the one man show is a great guy. I recently bought a custom blue c-tek Division Flipper from EBay. The seller disclosed that the liner lock was off and that the blade touched the opposite liner.
When I got the knife it was a complete mess. I contacted JB and he took the knife without hesitation. I advised him I bought it like that and he did not even care. His response was, "Its my knife, I made it, I'll fix it." JB fixed it and returned it in a sweat lil custom case. He took care of it and I am so happy.
Does he take awhile to answer emails? Yes. Does he answer the phone? No. Was my knife fixed free of charge with free shipping? YES!!!
JB continues to make sweet Custom and Mid Tech knives at very reasonable prices. If you are not patient, do not order direct from JB. You can always order from dealers. He is extremely busy, with design, manufacturing, shipping, and repairs.
My experiences with JB have always been great. They have at times been a lil long in the making to completion, but the end product is worth it.
