One of my challenges is that as a part-time maker, I can't produce enough product to make a knife everyone. If I spend my time making hunters, then I don't get to make as many historical projects. In order to help more people get a Fry knife, I've partnered with White River Knife and Tool in Fremont, Michigan. White River has manufactured these versions of my Utility Hunter in the USA, out of US materials, to my specifications. To the best of our ability, this knife is the same profile, same edge style and thickness, and same quality heat treatment as my custom versions.

OAL is 7 3/4", with a 3 1/4" blade. The handle material is bolted on, with an unlined lanyard hole. The blade finish is tumbled stonewash.

The steel in these knives is S35VN, professionally heat treated to 59/60 RC. I had intended to use primarily Ultrex Suretouch for this production run, but the material wasn't available in sufficient quantities. So, I turned the White River folks loose to use what they had around their factory. Some colors there will just be two knives, while others may have six or more. I was able to secure enough Suretouch that there will be roughly 30 knives available in each color. The sheaths are leather, manufactured by Smith and Son in Sulphur, Louisiana.

I've got them out for pre-order now, with delivery in mid May. Price is $225. The first 50 will get a numbered COA. Here's the link to see more, or to purchase.
