Danbo showed me this knife just after getting it. It's a beauty. Great blade with a nice hamon and the handle wrap is one of the best I've seen...smooth, even. The turks head is large enough to be a decent guard but it's not so large that it stands out visually. I checked out their table right afterwards. Great stuff all around.

A 12" version of this will be simply awesome.

If you ever get a great overall shot please post it and tell me how you got it. I've been trying to get a decent shot of a Steve Isbell tanto with about the same luck as you. Great handle, fair blade. Great blade, fair handle. It's frustrating isn't it.

Wow, back up from the depths. :)

Brandon, keep it up, this is amazing work from a relative newcomer, I can't find a thing wrong with the knife, you and Jason did an amazing job on it, I trade and/or sell off a lot of my knives, it's the way I collect, this one is still here and I have no plans to ever sell it, I really do love it.

It's still one of the few knives I just can't seem to get a good picture of, the reason is, the Hamon and blade are not etched, so, the hamon is very subtle, until the light reflects off the blade, then it really pops out and has that awesome frosty, "dripping" quality I love, but, when this happens, you also get a reflection which ruins the picture.

I did end up taking one more pic, a closeup of the blade, which does a decent job of showing the quality of both the hamon and the flawless satin finish, but, it's only a small portion of the blade. In any case, it's all I can add to the pics already posted.

If you have spent as much time at Blade shows as I have with Danbo your memory would be clouded too! :D.

This is an stunning knife.

I am really looking forward to Jason's M.S. submittals this year.;)

Hey knife boy, where is my knife!!! :)

one thing to try with photography is to get rid of the reflections by not using a flash. try difusing a lamp through a white sheet. i've used this and it works. you have to still play with it though.
