Jason Knight Bowie and other styles Collection

What a great collection and a real treat for us to see them like this. I particularly like how these are presented. It's really great for comparing shapes and lines, blades and handles.

I'll be studying these for some time I'm sure.

Thanks very much!!!

so glad you brought this thread over here Pohan:thumbup: Jason is probably just about my favorite knife maker of all time, or one of very few at any rate.

I'd like to see closeups of some of the handles, in particular the leather wrapped one, the cord wrap over MOP(?), the screwed-on micarta one and that gnarly snarly face. If you don't mind:)

Here ya go! (I think) what is MOP?

I was thinking mother of pearl, but that looks to me like abalone or something. Anyone know what kind of shell that is?

WOW!!! That is an AMAZING collection and body of work from Jason Knight.

That last one with the wrap over shell looks like abalone to me also.

Thanks for posting them,
Peter

Thanks foe sharing. Great collection. If you could please post a larger picture of the ivory and damascus fighter from the first set of pictures.

Thanks,
Gene

:D 10 of those would really look good next to the one I already own!!!

Dang, now I know I'm a rank amateur of a collector... But one day... :D

Truly awesome assemblage of one heck of a maker's work!!!

Thank you all for looking at this collection.
This represents knives made over a 10 year period. One of them is of the first 20 knives I made by forging. I appreciate the comments.

Jason is a true artist and this is a great collection of his work. It is amazing to see the depth of his design and creation capabilities.

Jason, you could make a book about this.
