One of a kind knife from ABS Journeymansmith Jason Knight. Blade is about 8.5" of forged 1084 high carbon tool steel. Visible hardening line. Apparently, the previous owner attempted to hand rub the blade on one side, as the back side isn't as perfectly done as the front side. It's not a bad job; it's just obvious that Jason didn't do the back side. Not a huge deal either, as Jason has already said he could(and would) refinish it quickly and easily. He was going to take the knife with him at the Little Rock knife show, but I told him I'd just wait until I boogered it up a bit more, before having him refinish it. So far, I've done nothing with the knife except swipe it a few times on a fine diamond stone(scary sharp, this one is!).

This is a one of a kind knife, as Jason told me this is the only Japanese style wrapped handled knife he's ever done with a fitted stainless single guard. The handle is green stingray skin underneath the wrap. Sheath is heavy duty leather, with black stingray skin inlay.

Asking price is more than fair, I believe, at $410. $10 of that price is covering the shipping and insurance. Outside the U.S., actual shipping charges apply. It's actually less than I paid for the knife, and certainly a good bit less than Jason would get for something similar nowadays. Believe me, whoever gets this one, will love it!
