Jason Knight Founders Bowie in forged W2 and black-dyed tiger maple, single stainless guard, swedge is sharp. One of 10 made, and the only one with a single guard. Photos in this thread were taken 1/27/19, no use since. I also reviewed this knife in the following thread, which contains the dimensions:

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed owning this knife and have used it lightly. Faint surface scratches evident on both sides of blade, but very little oxidation—hardly any patina and what there is you have to look for. Still has Jason’s original edge and will still shave hair—a few strokes on a steel are all it takes to maintain wicked working sharpness.

Just not getting into the “outback” as much as I did when I was younger, and have not carried this big a knife on my belt in many moons. If someone would like a very special, superbly capable user with generations of service left in it, from a consummate master smith at a fair price, I’ll let it go for:

$1,000 all in—Paypal G&S fee, Priority Mail shipping (USA only) with insurance and signature confirmation included. Comes in a padded case--no sheath. No trades, thanks. I don't ship to freight forwarders who then ship to another country.

Handle photos of both sides below were taken in flat light to show detail. The pale “graininess” that appears is actually very prominent chatoyance. The light play in this maple, glittering gold against the black, is dazzling:

thanks for your quick answer Will , I understand your discontent, but if you agree; I take the risk (knowing that I have never had any problem) with my acquisitions on Blade or other and especially I trust you. As I told you, there was a problem,
I TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.
I'll just ask you the parcel number. You will only hear my voice to announce that the package has arrived. Jason Knight is well worth $ 1000
I let you think
I think my proposal is honest

Thanks again for the offer to absolve me of responsibility, but I’d feel as badly about the loss whether it was you or I who lost money. I trust you fully—it’s the transporters I can’t bring myself to rely on again. Sorry for that.
