Jason Knight Founders Bowie in forged W2 and black-dyed tiger maple, single stainless guard, swedge is sharp. One of 10 made, and the only one with a single guard. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed owning this knife and have used it lightly. Faint surface scratches evident on both sides of blade, but very little oxidation—hardly any patina and what there is you have to look for. Still has Jason’s original edge and will still shave hair—a few strokes on a steel are all it takes to maintain wicked working sharpness.
Just not getting into the “outback” as much as I did when I was younger, and have not carried this big a knife on my belt in many moons. If someone would like a very special, superbly capable user with generations of service left in it, from a consummate master smith at a fair price, I’ll let it go for:
$1,000 all in—Paypal G&S fee, Priority Mail shipping (USA only) with insurance and signature confirmation included. Comes in a padded case--no sheath. No trades, thanks. I don't ship to freight forwarders who then ship to another country.
