Hi All,
This is a Jason Knight khukuri, the idea for which began life in late 2012. Joey Paranee (JParanee), friend, and ever the strongest supporter of the custom knife world, and Jason Knight, developed a plan for Jason to use his master skills to make a run of 10 khukuris. The origin thread (as far as I can tell) was posted by Joe on November 10, 2012, if you care to take a look. It took a while for the knives to start making it into the hands of the ten members that were fortunate enough to make the list. Another thread, posted at about the time I received my knife, was posted July 18, 2015. The wonderful human being and master leather worker, Paul Long, agreed to make the sheath for this one. I couldn’t have asked for more with this sheath. It is just a pleasure to look at and handle Paul’s work.

The Khukuri is forged from 80CrV2. It has a full tang with two pins in the black micarta handle. I’m not sure what coating and method was used for the dark coating on the blade and bolsters, but it has a fine, smooth, satin finish.

The blade is just about 11” long, with an overall knife length of 16-3/8”. It’s about 0.250” thick at the ricasso. The top clip is fine, but not sharpened. As with all of Jason’s knives, the finely sculpted handle is very comfortable in hand. This knife has never been used.
I’m asking $3,000, or best offer.
Thank you for looking and if interested, let me know if you have any questions. Mike
