This is the knife Jason has been packing around the last year or so

It's got a wicked 14 inch blade that makes for an overall of 19 1/4 or so

He just refinished it and blacked out the blade

There is no Hamon that is just oil in the one pic

My favorite handle material Black Micarta and a stainless guard

I just put it up for him in the dealer section but I wanted you all to see this Monster of a Knight

I'm just assuming that the stump below that monster was created by that monster. One swipe.... Thwack!! Done.

Man oh man oh man oh man.....

Another beautiful blade from the Master!!! BTW, any pics of the sheath or how he carries that bad boy around?

It has a bit of KukuriBowieFighter look to it!!

That thing is fierce! Love it. That recurve blade and then especially the guard coupled with the black micarta actually reminds me just a little of the work of another South Carolina knife-making legend... Wow as my mind wanders, how cool would a Knight / Brend collaboration be? Joe make it happen I want to be numbers 1-4 on that list ;) :D

Beautifil work ...as usual.

So was it ever the bane of any hogs?

Or were JK too busy making knives ... :)

I too am a Walter fan and I would love to see that happen but right now Jason is inadated with Khukuri orders and we already have two other projects on the drawing board so he's getting shackled in his shop :)

Knowing Jason he probable stuck something with it :)

With this knife you might stick a catch dog thru the hog which would be very bad :)

That is a fact! First hog I stuck, my Lon Humphery Bowie passed right through the hog not many inches from one of the dogs.
I literally had no idea, the knife would pass that easily through the animal. Would have been horrible, had I hit the dog.

While the knife was/is an excellent tool for the job, I had no idea, it would pass through that easy, so used more force than neccessary.
Live and learn - luckily all went well and on the next pig, I didnt use as much force.

BTW Huge fan of the Dogo Argentino, but I might have mentioned that. In a perfect world, I would have a couple of those. Beautiful dogs.

Thanks Blade Scout

You definitely don't need that long of a knife to kill hogs but if ya ever run up against Hogzilla this might be the ultimate Boar knife :)

In old Europe the hunting sword was very popular and this blade would fall in that category for sure :)

As for the Dogos , they are my boys thx for the kind words and I will never pass the chance to post pics of the meat heads :)

I used to run the daddy on hogs but I've seen some great dogs killed so he's moved on to birds and tracking deer, small game, etc.
