After you "squeezed the ever-loving sh*t" outta me and pressured me to the point I vapor-locked, I NEVER thought I would ever right anything positive about you Jack.
But, the truth is that I never questioned your honesty and the quality of your goods. I was more than willing to pay $400.00 for that whiplash if I had the $400.00 at the time YOU wanted it. Just think, if you would have just "lightened up" and not continued to apply the "DEALER-like" presure, I would own that Whiplash and maybe this could have been avoided.
Since then, I posted that you acted like a "dealer", a Debate and a play on words that will last forever and only Spark can end it or change it. But as far as delivering quality knives, I NEVER ONCE had any doubt that what you said; is what you delivered. Jack you are an honest man, and your knife-deals are smooth once you get past the "talk stage" and move to the payment stage. You deliver fast, package well, and the GB&U does not contain one negative at all
When I first posted a "Generic" post here in GB&U, I named no names because I knew if I did, a war would erupt. You guys had the luxury of E-mail, where in my case, I had a child who refused to answer even one of the fifty or so I sent. It all came down to My word (supported by evidence) versus his word ( supported with no evidence). But in the end, I lost and came out with Sh*t stains all around my lips. Why? Because I did not shut-up, chalk this up to a "Deal gone South", cut my losses and drive-on. One post spelling it out and leave it at that. NOPE, and in the end, the same result, except I came out looking like a whinning, Baby, and still out about $40.00 Bucks. If I had posted just once, the folks on BF would have posted, and Sunshine would have gotten it stuffed WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE. A lesson learned for me, and to Jared: what goes around comes around.
Jack, Why you got involved in this fray is beyond me, but it's time to put all these sad issues to rest. In the course of a week, several of us got wrapped up in engaging our mouths, fueled by our hearts, with no brain in gear. We are all better than this.
If there is a problem with any of the knives Jack has traded/sold then an E-mail to Jack almost always makes it right. The key to all of these events is COMMUNICATION. Members of BF should make it a point to maintain an open line until BOTH parties to a trade are happy. If one is unhappy for any reason, a member of BF really needs to communicate privately with the other formite. NO FORMITE should ever refuse to respond to an E-mail, EVER until all the issues are resolved.
When I see formite Vs. formite in the GB&U, I cringe. I hope that I never see this again. We are all much better than this.....................Ira
