When the Boss went to pull this out, I was standing right behind MikeH @ the Trough, who for those who've not had the pleasure of meeting him yet, is ONE really TALL GENTLEMAN... :thumbup: (And a great guy to talk to!!) ...Somehow in my mind, I could still almost see right through him as Jerry began to ease this knife out from underneath the counter; and so I very loudly proclaimed, "I'll TAKE IT!!!" (My brain said to me... "you want THIS knife, so yell NOW."). I think that the Boss was so surprised/impressed, he just handed it over while shaking his head & saying, " He didn't even see it, he just KNEW. How very HOGgish! It's yours!!" GREAT grind, sweet Nick. It also has a story, which is interesting and worth remembering, but I should ask him first if I can tell the story (not a big deal-still cool) before actually doing so here. Both Masters of the INFI & Grind had a hand in creating this sweet recurved Thin Nick Variant. Quite possibly my favorite knife taken @ the Trough! :thumbup::thumbup: Isn't it beautiful? WELL DONE, BOSS HOG, thank you!!!

I will always know it as... The "Ugly" Knife. :thumbup: ...UGLY always being IN PARENS of course, because now it's a real beautiful piece of work! Boss HOG, YOU know! ...Awesome, simply incredible work.
