I am in dire need of money, so, I am selling a few gems I truly never thought I would, but sometimes you just have to.

Large, gorgeous stag hunter from this highly sought after Mastersmith. Blade is 5.25" of forged 52100, with a beautiful satin finish and a visible temper line. Guard is NS, as are the handle pins. The handle is a major piece of work. Most of his knives have that wire inlay, which is nice, but I admit, I GREATLY prefer this handle, which is a ridiculously fine piece of amber popcorn stag, carved into a star at its butt. The fit of the blade to the guard is perfect, and the workmanship on this knife is everything you expect from Jay, top notch and flawless. I had always wanted one from him, but didn't want the wire inlay, then I saw this one, and fell in love, it's hard to part with, but I am WAY overextended.

The pics don't do this knife justice, and you will be very pleased with it in person. As nice as the stag looks in the pics, it is MUCH better in person, you do not see stag of this quality often.

Comes with an excellent leather sheath too.

First to email me and say they'll take it gets this world-class, large MS stag hunter for $595---Reduced to $495 shipped fully insured, 2-day.

Thanks for looking.

Ari

Actually Rog, I think we just did! :)

Anyway, this knife, stag and all, is GONE, Nope, Back Up!!!! Thanks to all who responded, wish I had 3 more... :)

OK, the buyer unfortunately just lost his job, so, he can't take the knife. Because I am now in a minor bind, this one goes back up with a major price reduction to a ridiculously low price of just $495 shipped, for one of the finest forged, large (5") stag hunters by a top Mastersmith you'll ever see! Man the candy-like popcorn stag alone is worth that much! :)

There are Mastersmiths, and there are Mastersmiths, and Jay is at the top of the heap, you can't lose money on this knife at this price, in fact, I think you'll make some if you ever decide to part with it. This is one of those rare times when buying a knife as an investment isn't a bad idea. :)

Firs to say the magic words gets it.

PayPal OK with no fees.
