I have dealt with Jay. No problems at all.

Never bought anything from him, but he has some good looking old knives on his site. I may have to get 1 or 2 of them

No problem with Jay, I think I bought my first knife on-line from him since he was the only person I could find that had a vintage Kershaw I had been looking for.

glad I ran into this post, and I now see his shop is like 15 minutes from where I live. I see a visit being paid there this week.

His site is a gold mine for me; full of old, long discontinued or out of business knives there, a lot of them in great condition.

Jay is good guy. Pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. His prices are usually pretty reasonable too, considering the collectability of his offerings.

Bought some rare Blurs from him and bug him on the phone every once in a while. Cant speak highly enough of him.

I've purchased knives from Jay for over 20 years. Never had any issues what so ever. Good quality products and excellent customer service.

wow gulp,
alli can say is that on another infamous knife site i got a thread closed cause i asked about Exiled Cutlery.

FOLKS GOT ALL EXCITED AND SEMI ANGRY SPEAKING ABOUT POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE from the site owner. as far as i know it is Jay. and if this is the same dude he has admited to buying a few other sites that aslo sell exiled cutlery stuff and cheap knives...

what is strange to me is how the same person can get completely opposite reviews and feedback . here's the link to the closed thread

forgive me for my ignorance in these threads I'm new and just trying to navigate as best i can on these sites. i asked about that site i did because i saw some things of interest, while also recognizing that they/he was doing some serious price gouging too.

so it seems that on certain sites he asks very responsible, and on others he has he does not. Unless there are two different Jay's which i doubt, based on the same knives being for sale at his various sites. maybe other folks can check into this more.

You are thinking/speaking of JB, the owner of roadside imports and the maker of those crappy balisongs. Not jay of jays knives.

hey Karda,
ok i take your word for it. like i said i didn't know if there was more then one jay. can you tell me why Jay's knives sells exiled cutlery stuff though? thx

He may have got them in a trade for other items or it isn't the first time JB has pulled one over on unsuspecting people.
Case in point: cutlerylovers positive review of the product when everyone else knows they are rebranded chinese clones.
