Astonishing knives all, but that one on the book might correspond to the end of the quest :cool:;)

Amateur perhaps in the sense of not having to depend on knives for a livelihood- but Master Artisan in terms of an eye for beauty, originality and sheer breathtaking skill:thumbsup: Regret to hear he has died but what a superb legacy, physical and metaphysical to leave behind, most inspiring.

There's two meanings for amateur : the one who is not pro and the one who likes something or to do something. He surely was fully representative of the second meaning.
