Jeff Randall interview from online blog

Jeff Randall states that a low-cost carbon steel machete is probably the real "survival knife". Right On, Jeff.:D

All kinds of people in the real world survive everyday in some pretty rough places with the humble machete. South America, Southeast Asia, Africa. My old man used a 9 inch cut down machete as his woods knife from the end of WW2 until the 1970's. I've used plain Ontario machete's for a few decades as my go-to woods knife and never had a problem. Plain old 1095 seems to work.

Well its easy to make 1095 knives and say the rest is bullshit. Ethan Becker does it too. Great dudes, respect. Guess someones gotta make knives for the mall ninjas.

Thanks for the read!
