Jens Anzo "Rock Lobster" prototype

Never heard anything about that. Besides are you saying we can post photos of the knives and have discussions on them but just no links? What sense does that make?
Any links to "the other forum" are not permitted by order of Spark. If you need to post the pic from that thread save it to your hard drive and then attach it to the post instead of linking to it.

I hope it isn't a liner lock. A frame lock, or compresion lock would be preferred. Or maybe some new lock Spyderco hasn't told us about. :)

If spyderco makes it with an integral lock I would buy it, liner lock , no thanks. Also garageboy if you want a "pointy" knife, spyderco has a large selection of "pointy" knives. There are a large number of people out there, myself included, who favor this blade style. I would like to see spyderco produce this knife staying true to the original design. Either way, I am going for one of the custom anso's in the near future. Mr. Glesser if you read this, my vote goes for keeping it big, 4" blade, I will take two. Thanks. By the way I own more than 40 spyderco models.

Ok, I'll keep that in mind. But for the record. I posted a link to Anso knives not the other forum. I just merely mentioned that place, and at the time I didn't know anything about any conflicts with it or even what it was as I have never been there but only heard that was the case for seeing more of Anso. My bad, as at first I thought when the first post informed me of this that they were telling me we can't post links to Anso.

Anyway, point made, sorry Sparks, didn't know a thing about your unwritten rule here.

i have a custom one. it is the cats meow.

rrrRRRRRRRow.

Jens Anso makes a hell of a nice knife.

first post in here!

The full size Calpyso is a great knife. I use to have 2 of them, plain edge. Very nice. If Spyderco makes one with a frame lock and a contoured G10 handle, I'm sure I'll buy one. But then it isn't a Calypso. Then it is something else, so it might as well be the Rock Lobster. :) The Rock Lobster makes me think of a nice gentlemens blade, but built tough to use tough.

Blades

Mmmmm....pretty. Definitely an innovative blade shape and incorporation of the hole. I'm partial to the Gekko, myself.

If Spyderco makes an Ansø collaboration and a Kevin Wilkins collaboration I will be spending a lot of $$$ with them. These are two of my favorite folder makers (and I'm banned on that other forum, so I miss out on most of Ansø's new stuff, which blows) and they both are licensees of the Spyderhole. Amazing, amazing knives, top notch workmanship/fit/finish and, more than anything, creative use of materials and patterns that you've never seen before. Truly cutting edge (haha). Spyderco should pay Jens and Kevin whatever it would take to move them to Colorado and work full time for them! :D
