Does anyone else have a problem with being able to navigate around Jephco Knife Supply's site? I've tried it with Firefox and IE, to no avail. Sometimes only one page of the site will load, sometimes a page will load and then I get a "connection was reset" error.

No other site in recent memory has done this to me. Jeff Petze at Jephco says it's likely on my end, but he mentioned others have had trouble as well...

It's the site that sells "Warwood" handle material, btw.

my virus scanner just popped up and said the site was attempting to download a virus, and then I got the problem downloading page message

He's a good guy

I'll keep that in mind

I had no idea that being a good guy stops your web site from downloading a Trojan that activates a pop behind advertisement that then downloads third party tracking cookies ;0)

I just ordered some too, and Jeff's customer service is good- it's just convenient to have the site as a reference when building an order. Thanks for the perspectives, guys, and John- I have Avast too, I'll have to go look and see if it was somehow blocking that site. It had occurred to me to try Chrome as well, but I'm not a big fan of it and so don't currently have it.

I looked the Trojan up and it turns out to be some poorly written HTML code for pop behind advertisement that causes some virus scanners to read a false positive, its probably harmless

I'm not a big fan of chrome either its a browser that was set up expressly for data mining to increase the effectiveness of targeted advertising, Its scary to think how much Google knows about me now because of chrome;0)

I simply suggested that you call him, which has nothing at all to do with the website. That is the point. ;)
