I first heard it(come to think of it, I have only heard it from) Jerry Fisk, himself.

If you have ever seen a racoon in the wild find something shiny or a smooth rock etc. he will pick it up wash it off rub and turn it over and over again wash it off and repeat they have wonderful dexterite and are very curious critters. Tough also many a good dog has been drowned by a racoon

You're right Joe, if there's water around, that's most likely where the coon is going to take the dogs. And some coon dogs are EXPENSIVE in addition to being loyal companions.
Jerry finishes out his Senderos from the very plain to the highly embellished. I prefer them kind of in the middle like this one. Nice stag, damascus and classic engraving is a good combination as a user or show piece.
