Jerry Halfrich 3.5" Clip Point Shadow Pattern

Great looking knife by Jerry that went to another one of the good guys.

I think we have a new term to add to our dictionary too boot. "Pre fewpop ivory" has a certain classy sound. :D.

Great lookin trapper! Setting the pins in ivory is so much fuuuuuuuuun....ain't it Jerry?!

I am hesitant to "bring the pepper" to the Folksy, hopefully this will be taken in the spirit that it is offered in.

The relief at the choil, or "Spanish notch" on this blade is way too deep, from what I can see in the pics. I have always felt that Tony and Reese push it t0 just this side of acceptable, and this one looks about another 1/8" in from that.

Now this knife may only be gently massaged to give a "glow" to the ivory but that deep notch belies the hard working roots.....IMO.

That said, the grinds themselves show to be superb.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson
