Jerry Halfrich: "Bulldog"

Okay, the eagle Bulldog has landed! (And it's a good thing it didn't land too hard as it weighs in at a full 6 3/8 ounces!!!)

Here's a few quick shots I took out on the porch rail to try to give some additional vantage points beyond Coop's great image in the first post.

I just want to thank Jerry once again for making this bad boy and taking the time to do it right! It's just awesome.:cool:

Beautiful knife Elliott.
That has to be about the best matched set of Stag scales ever. The color, figure, and shape (symmetry) are just dead on!

Thanks, Stu. You (actually, I) can thank Steven (alfaholic) for that. They were his own hand picked scales and accidentally ended up on this knife. My gain for sure...Especially having a little part of my buddy Steven end up as part of the project. We had a good laugh over it at the show.

I'm glad he could laugh about it, if they were mine that would be OUR knife!;)
He must have some more of that put up somewhere.
Either way, Steven sure can pick 'em, and Jerry sure can fit 'em.

Elliot I am so delighted that the knife has the stag scales I picked. To know that a little bit of my taste is on your knife gives me a warm fuzzy feeling!:p

Folks this knife has to be seen to be believed. The opening and closing is just the perfect tension and the whole knife has an amazingly old world craftsman feel. Of course one would expect nothing less from Jerry who is one of the best folder makers anywhere.
And the stag, if I say so myself, is BRILLIANT!:D

Enjoy Elliot;)

Thanks, guys. Sorry for the tardy reply...I somehow missed your posts. Really glad you like Jerry's "Bulldog" It's a handful of goodness for sure!

Always had a soft spot for the Case Bulldog. There is something definitive and undeniable abou tthe patter, and to see it done up like that is very heartwarming.

Looking good Elliott. Make that looking great! Sometimes you just really want a handful of knife and that one would fill the bill nicely. Congrats.
