Jerry Halfrich - LB5

Just picked up a Halfrich LB5, and it is an amazing folder. A full size folder 4.5" closed, with a 3.25" blade, yet because of the construction and materials, this knife weighs only 2.5 oz. Ergonomic, hand-filling, and graceful all at the same time. This is clearly intended to be a working knife, yet Jerry's level of fit and finish is very high. The materials adjoin each other seamlessly and the tang and blade look and feel like a fixed blade when opened. Oh yes, the blade is very sharp.

I am quite impressed with this maker and his work.

The CF handle is not the least bit mottled, my picture taking skills are wanting.

I have 3 folders from Jerry, including an LB5 - love 'em all. He makes a great knife.
