A Hossom Hunter, bought from Jerry several years ago at the last Winston-Salem Custom Knife show. Blade is 5 1/4" of Devin Thomas "Vines & Roses" stainless damascus. Overall length is 10 1/2". Outstanding sheath by Michael "Sandy" Morrissey. I really hate to let this go, but I'm helping to support a medical student from Nepal, and he needs rent and food money. Price is
$550 $500 including Priority Mail shipping with insurance in Conus. Paypal or USPS money orders accepted.
First email to sferguson2@triad.rr.com gets it.
Thanks!
Steve Ferguson

Do you know what the wood is by chance? Is it something that is stabilized? Also, any chance you could post a spine shot on the entire knife?

Thanks!

The wood is stabilized. I'm thinking something like buckeye burl, but I'm really not sure. Here are a couple of quick pics of the spine.

That is an absolutely phenomenal blade!! Can you tell me the stock thickness at the spine? Thanks

My recollection from September 2002 was that it was stainless damascus. Looking ad Devin Thomas' website http://www.devinthomas.com/heat.html , his stainless is AEB-L, and 304. However, he isn't currently making the vines & roses in stainless, but in 1084/15N20.

Looking at Jerry's site, he shows a hunter similar to mine with stainless damascus and black ash burl handles. http://www.hossom.com/index_page0001.htm

Edit: Checking Devin's site again, his pricelist shows stainless vines & roses damscus in AEB - H and 302. For only $25 per inch.
