I bought one of Jerry's awesome knives from another forum member, it arrived in mint condition, however there was a very odd flaw, what it was isnt important, however, i emailed Jerry, now realize, he is a VERY busy and hot maker, and he got back to me right away, friendly and helpful as can be and told me to send it in. Well, i did, he got it back to me much sooner than anticipated, like in less than a week with the problem fixed, and, he paid for the return shipping and Express mail at that! I had meant to enclose a check for that in the box and forgot, he told me not to worry about it. I didnt buy the knife from him, and he did everything he could to fix the problem quickly and painlessly, and kept in touch with me throughout, something many lesser makers fail to do, as so many horror stories attest to.
Jerry is a model that all custom makers can look to to find out how to create loyal customers, and i just wanted to share this excellent customer service experience with you all.
His knives are as great as his service, which is to say, the best.
Edited to add:
The "flaw" i had fixed may very well have happened after the knife left Jerry's shop and so, it might be more accurate to call it an issue or problem, rather than a flaw, since flaw implies it was his fault, and i'm not sure it was.
