Jerry... I Think We Need A Bigger Chopper. The "Perfect (Sandy) Storm Killer"...

...And now it's Jerry's turn...! ;) (But I have this feeling that he's somewhere in the Shop laughing at me right about now! :D:D)

As any self-respecting addict knows, chasing that first high is a lifelong, increasingly bankrupting, and futile quest... I'm in!

The short sword style Bussekin blades are already around 18". 25" would be better if you want something truly different.
Really we're talking about the first true Busse machete (is that a dirty word around here?), I might keep it 3/16" just to make sure it doesn't bend when batoning, but 1/8" would be great (and cost less, and weigh less).

The best part would be that due to the perspective shift, people would mistake their 10" blades for 5" blades and use them for EDC.

Bring it!

Ill take one tho after this I think Jerry can honestly stop producing choppers. Cant imagine it to be any better then this one

I was planning on pairing my anorexic B4 with my B10, but tonight I decided the B10 doesn't need a companion knife as large as the B4 - I have something smaller that's a better complement.

So, that decides it, there needs to be a larger INFI chopper with a res C handle so I have something to pair with my B4. Can't let it be lonely. A B14/15/16 will work just fine, thank you.

Hand and a half basic 18. .187" , .200" coated. I like the way you think jaxx.

;):thumbup::thumbup: Thanxx, man! :)

Just remembered that most makers call a personal survival knife a PSK, and the weather folks have been referring to Sandy as a "super storm", so I guess that this could be a PSSK-18. There, it's named (Perfect Super Storm Killer 18). Now for the hard part...convincing the Bossman to get 'er done! :D

The KD came in pretty useful for cutting through cabinetry, and drywall when we gutted the kitchen... does this mean she's down-graded to "like new" condition?

The only request I would make to the shop is Res C handles; it wasn't a concern of mine because the power was out, but in a functional home, absent destruction, electrical wiring behind walls would definitely be a problem that rubber handles could circumvent. Safety first:thumbup:
A house right across from the beach in NYC that I helped a friend gut; this was the first floor of the home, post-Sandy.
