I don't think you would want to convert hollow ground to convex ground, there is not enough metal to get the curvature of the convex. Behind the edge would either be paper thin or the edge of the knife would have to be taken back in which case you would lose a lot of blade width. When I had ban do a tg 14 to convex which is flat saber the tip area became very thin simply because of the amount of metal that is required to be removed to gain the curve. All that aside if they released a tglb le I'd be in for at least 2.

Even a CG TGLB can be sent to Josh at Razors' edge and Stripped, satin Finished, Convex grind, Wicked edge sharpening, and Torx installed (so the handles can be removed easily for cleaning) at a very reasonable price! Just Sayin-Cheers!!!

With all due respect you are incorrect! If you purchased a TGLB for $387 (which I Believe is what they listed for) You can have it Stripped, sharpened, Satin Finish, and even Torx screws installed (So you can remove the handles and clean when Necessary) Total would be approximately $675, and yes I am sending one off to Josh@Razor's edge to have it Completed! I will be over a TGLB-Satin if Busse offers it, I will be shocked if it is offered at $500-The Bunker Buster is $537 before any handle upgrades! Cheers!!!

If you HAD purchased a TGLB, it would have been 387.
The lowest you see them on the exchange anymore is $500

CharlieMike had his done by Josh,, its just incredible, he told me all in he spent about $800, (which totally makes sense with your price of $675,, meaning you are probably going to be paying right about $300 for the service from Josh, just like CharlieMike did.)

So lets say Busse did offer a TGLB LE for 600,, its still 200 cheaper than what someone right now would pay to get one off the exchange and have it modded by RE.

I do agree 500 might be on the low end, probably closer to 600.

I can agree with your Math, Sounds about right, seems Josh quoted me $265-$280 if I remember correctly! Also keep in mind the Wicked Edge sharpening and Removeable Handles are also big pluses! Point being we are not even sure Busse will release a Satin TGLB! I, like you hope this occurs, But O2W has taught me I don't like waiting! I have no idea why these replies are turning out like this-we have has some Severe storm in the Area

Best time to release the tglble is right off the bat when some of us might still have some money. Not that we might have to pay right away. Don't know about you guys but if it comes out at the end of o2wII then I might not be able to get quite as many.... just sayin
