I am now offering Jerry Rados Turkish Twist for Sale and Jerry is offering free forging to shape if you buy a minimum of 6 inches.
The normal charge for his forging to shape is $6 per inch with a minimum of 6 inches. If you want a 10" bowie that is a $60 savings
This free forging to shape is for a limited time only and I have a variety of sizes available.
All prices are per inch
1/8" x 1" $27.40
1/8 x 1 1/4 $29.80
1/8 x 1 1/2 $36.50
5/32 x 1 $28.40
5/32 x 1 1/4 $30.80
5/32 x 1 1/2 $37.50
3/16 x 1 $35.55
3/16 x 1 1/4 $39.35
3/16 x 1 3/8 $39.85
3/16 x 1 1/2 $41.20
1/4 x 1 1/2 $45.80
1/4 x 1 3/4 $53.00
1/4 x 2 $59.70
Heres how it works:
Send a paper template to Jerry and he will forge the knife to shape for you for free so that the pattern of the steel follows the profile of the knife. The steel is then annealed, Sandblasted and milled down equally on both sides to get the size required.
When Jerry makes his turkish twist, the finished size is about half of what he starts out with. The good pattern is in the center so the top and bottm of the billet has to be milled off the get to the good stuff. About 50% of the steel ends up as swarf on his shop floor but the piece that you get is OUTSTANDING! Of course his steel is guarented against defects so you have nothing to worry about.
Jerry accepts paypal so payment couldnt be easier.
I will add pics of the steel later today. Thanks
