Jessie "J-Dog" has passed away

Such sad news Phil. I'm so sorry. My heart felt condolences. I know what a dog means personally and to the whole family. Losing one is never easy. I always enjoy your posts and J-Dog was a part of that. I'm sure she will be missed by all of us who shared her opinion on knives.

Jesse was a lucky dog and will be missed.

Condolences, I am sorry to hear this news.

Phil,
Thank you so very much for reminding us of the unconditional love and friendship a loyal companion can provide. Some of the fondest memories I have as a child are that of my endless adventures along side my Golden Retriever. I truly enjoyed the light hearted involvement of J-Dog in nearly all of your threads. The shear fact that Jessie inspired your activity here in the Forum goes to show the impact pets have on our lives. With that much of an influence, I can only imagine your and Melissa's heartbreak right now. Please tell her hello and that I am sorry about Jessie.
I truly hope your days begin to get brighter soon. Please let us know if you need anything.

Take care my friend,
Sergio

Oh Phil, I'm so very sorry. With great love comes great sorrow. I had to say goodbye to my Sadie five years ago and her spirit still brings tears to my eyes. I do understand. I told Sadie to wait for me at St Peters gate and I'd be along someday. I'm certain she and Jessie are playing ball with St. Peter right now, pain free.

Phil, very sorry for your loss.

Catching up on some forum activity and came across this post on J-dog. Our bonds formed with our canine family are some of the strongest relationships we can experience in this life. Our puppy turns 8 this summer and is starting to show signs of his age. While I wish he could outlive me, I know one day I will have to face the inevitable. That is not a day I look forward to, but I do hope that with the ebbs and flows of life we continue to show him the love, attention and care that J-dog led through his life with you and your wife. I wish you both the best and know J-dog is resting peacefully and will forever be by your side even if not physically

Phil,

I am so sorry to hear it about the passing of Jessie. I have always loved seeing her pictures in your posts. I wish you the best in this time of change. She was lucky to be so well cared for from the beginning to the end.

Phil, I'm so sorry to hear this news. I know that you will understandably miss her immensely. Cherish the memories and remember all the ways you improved each other's lives.

Kris

Dear Friends,

There is no way I can begin to reply personally to all of the wonderfully sympathetic comments you have posted. It means more than you will know to Melissa and I to be part of such a great community of friends who reach out to support each other any way they can in difficult times.

Jessie always got extra excited when people paid attention to her. Her tail would be wagging a mile a minute if she knew how many of her forum friends responded here.

Thanks so much!

Phil
