Here is another Bolo style inspired by the knives used at the JEST survival school. This one is a little shorter than the usual 11-12in blades. It is 15 9/16in overall with a10in blade(tip to handle). I used 1/4in thick 5160 for the blade stock. The bevels are full flat grinds and the tang has been drilled out to reduce weight. The edge has been convex ground with the edge finished off with a micro bevel. The handle scales are natural G10 with orange G10 liners and stainless steel tube fasteners. The slightly translucent G10 with the liners gives the handle a neat orange "glow". Will come with a black Kydex sheath with a Tek Lok. Price is $400***Now $375*** shipped in the US.

Bill, nice job! Too bad you cannot get some water buffalo horn for the handle scales. They used to teach a the course, that you could scrap the horn handle, and get some of the fibrous material off to help wounds/blood coagulate, like the old story of using spider webs. Not sure how sanitary that would be, but in a real survival situation staying alive till you get rescued is the most important part. John
