This was a fun little project to learn on and turned out pretty well. I love how it turned out but was never too keen on the two blade layout. So moving it on if somebody else might be interested.
This is the 81 BullKeeper from last year in red linen micarta. I hand jigged the scales and darkened the micarta with some leather dye. Buffed it a little, satin finished the bolsters and shield and this is what you get. Patina from fruit and the edge has been touched up on both but no major re-profiling. Comes with the tube. Pull is about a 4+ on both.
Looking for possibly another GEC or an older Case 63032, 6347 or 6318 with some nice jigged bone and the AS GROUND finished blades not the high polish. Also would look at CV too. Must be right and tight if it’s a Case.
Also looking for SAK Pioneer X in a color other than silver.
